
About Me
Jenni Lata is a professional food stylist, recipe developer, and culinary consultant. After earning a B.A. in Art History from the University of Virginia, she went on to receive a culinary diploma at Le Cordon Bleu and M.B.A. at College of Charleston. Through TK Test Kitchen and her Substack, Notes from the Test Kitchen, she collaborates with chefs, restaurants, and food brands to create visually stunning food photography, develop market-ready recipes, and provide expert culinary consulting. Her recipe and styling work has been published in Food & Wine, The Local Palate, Legends Magazine, Garden & Gun, Eating Well Magazine, and Southern Living. She and her husband, Chef Mike Lata, have two restaurants and three boys and live in Charleston, South Carolina.
