DaVee has come a long way since her childhood sugar cookie-baking sessions, when she adopted a “more is better” philosophy of sprinkles, covering every cookie with every sprinkle available. She learned that sharing her baked goods with others turned any regular meal into truly special events.
DaVee has been sweetening up some of Charleston’s restaurants since finishing her schooling at Johnson & Wales in Charlotte, NC and was even on Food Network competing against Bobby Flay in a “Chocolate Covered Clash”. She started her own bakery in the fall of 2020 and moved Little Peanut Bake Shop from a shared kitchen spot into their first brick and mortar location in November of 2023 while very pregnant at the time! On top of the store front Little Peanut Bake Shop supplies pastries and desserts all over Charleston at over 20 coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Looking forward to what is next for what started as just a little pop up tent and a dream.
