Brighid O’Keane is the owner of Drafters Tea Company, based in Western North Carolina, where she specializes in sourcing and importing rare teas directly from a family farm in Thailand. She has worked in the tea industry since 2006 and was on the Advisory Board with the American Specialty Tea Alliance. In addition to her work in tea, Brighid serves as Executive Director of the Cider Institute, where she collaborates with cidermakers and researchers worldwide to advance cider production education and quality. She is a Certified Pommelier and received the Significant Impact Award from the American Cider Association in 2024. Brighid now calls Western North Carolina home, where she enjoys connecting people with exceptional beverages.
