About Me

Chef Bintou N’Daw’s culinary journey is diverse.. Originally from Senegal, she moved to France at an early age and developed her passion for cooking.

After exploring the West Indies and various African countries working for caterers, she settled in New York City to work in hotel and restaurant management.
With extensive experience as a caterer and personal chef for A-list celebrities, Bintou launched restaurants and bistros in NYC, showcasing her innovative culinary style. Now in Charleston, where she feels a connection to her roots and to the city’s crucial history, she opened Bintü Atelier, an African-inspired dining experience two years ago, continuing to elevate the culinary scene and aiming to bring a diverse crowd together.
