About Me
Ann Marshall is the co-founder of High Wire Distilling Co., an award-winning
Charleston distillery celebrated for its heritage grain spirits, including Jimmy Red
Bourbon. A former natural-foods consultant and marketing executive, she helped
to lead the revival of the near-extinct Jimmy Red corn, working with farmers and
chefs to reshape the regions agricultural landscape. A two-time James Beard
Award finalist and a Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Fellow, Marshall has
been recognized for her efforts to connect distilling with regenerative farming
and to strengthen the ties between Southern agriculturalists and the region’s
culinary community.
