About Me
Chef Setrini Sison is a Filipino-born chef known for his pop-up restaurant Bok Choy Boy, which serves Filipino-Pan-Asian cuisine in Charleston, SC. He started his culinary career in Chicago then making the Lowcountry his home.
Inspired by his heritage and global travel, he opened Bok Choy Boy with his wife, Lani, in 2019.
The menu features Filipino-Pan-Asian fusion, inspired by his heritage and cultural experiences.
Bok Choy Boy has a permanent location in West Ashley, in partnership with Charles Towne Fermentory.
His cooking blends flavors from various cultures and reflects what he enjoys eating at home.
