Charlotte Voisey is the Executive Director of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation and a cocktail bar consultant.
Charlotte has traveled the world with spells living in Barcelona and Buenos Aires, but made her name at home in London. In 2002, with the Gorgeous Group, Charlotte opened classic cocktail bar Apartment 195 and was soon named UK Bartender of the Year. In 2005 Charlotte was invited to guest bartend at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic and consequently fell in love with the US cocktail community, one year later Charlotte officially made the move stateside to represent her favorite spirit, Hendrick’s Gin.
From 2006 to 2024 Charlotte ran the coveted Brand Ambassador program for William Grant & Sons, ultimately leading 100 charismatic professionals across 40 countries.
Charlotte remains a spirits educator at heart, is an Associate Partner of the B.A.R. 5 Day Program in 2019 and currently consults on bar programs and cocktail menus globally.
Her cocktail tutorial series ‘The Proper Pour with Charlotte Voisey’ was a formative resource for the industry in the 2010s and Charlotte has had cocktail recipes published and placed on menus across the world.
Charlotte’s passion for all things spirits and cocktails keeps her in an active speaking role at all major industry events including BCB Berlin, Aspen Food & Wine, Barra Mexico and Charleston Wine & Food and Charlotte has been a regular on US television, notably on the Food Network and on The TODAY Show.
