Chef Malachi Schreiner
Executive Chef – Eliza’s at Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant

Chef Malachi Schreiner brings over a decade of culinary leadership and creativity to Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant. A Wisconsin native, he began his journey in Green Bay’s fine dining scene, shaping his craft in upscale kitchens and hospitality venues.

His career includes leadership roles at Red Restaurant, Green Bay Country Club, and Copper State Brewing Company, where he earned a reputation for inventive, seasonal menus featuring locally sourced ingredients. As the owner of Peace Love & BBQ Food Truck, he showcased his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for bold, comforting flavors.

Before joining Hotel Indigo, Chef Schreiner served as Executive Chef at the I’On Club in Mount Pleasant, where he reimagined the club’s culinary program with a modern, vibrant touch. Known for his collaborative leadership and dedication to excellence, he fosters strong kitchen teams and unforgettable dining experiences.

Chef Schreiner continues to celebrate the Lowcountry’s rich culinary heritage—infusing each dish with creativity, warmth, and contemporary flair.
