Originally from Lexington, KY Kirsten has always had a love affair with wine. Working at a local provisions shop in her hometown ignited a curiosity in wine and the world behind it. Wine has always felt like a natural extension of the elements of human experience she already found fascinating- history, geography, different cultures, travel- they’re all connected! Driving her love of grape beverages is also a commitment to personal experiences and connecting with her community. Plus, wine tastes pretty dang good. For the past 8+ years Kirsten has been an integral part of Graft Wine Shop as manager, sommelier and now director of operations. She is currently taking on the new challenge of curating the wine list at their sister pizzeria, Tutti Pizza. In her free time she loves to work with the Charleston Parks Conservancy, tool around in her garden and enjoy the culinary scene of Charleston with her friends.
