About Me

A decade ago, a friendly rib rivalry with his wife Emma ignited Ian’s passion for grilling. After cousin Joey declared Emma’s ribs the winner, Ian embarked on a mission to master the art of BBQ, leaving “Emma in the dust”!
From humble backyard beginnings, Ian’s dedication took his craft to a whole new level. He now meticulously creates his own signature dry rub, mustard-based sauce, and mop sauce. While specializing in mouthwatering smoked chicken and ribs (his brisket and whole hog skills are nothing to scoff at either!), Ian’s secret lies in the low and slow, indirect heat smoking method he employs.
