Chef Ashley is a Johnson & Wales University graduate whose work reflects a balance of classical technique and modern pastry refinement. During her tenure at Johnson & Wales, she completed a pastry program in France, where immersive study strengthened her technical foundation and appreciation for precision, structure, and timeless pastry traditions.
She currently serves as Executive Pastry Chef at Circa 1886 in Charleston, South Carolina, where she leads the pastry program for the acclaimed fine-dining restaurant. Her desserts emphasize thoughtful composition, seasonal ingredients, and layered textures, designed to complement the restaurant’s historic setting and contemporary culinary vision.
In 2025, Chef Ashley was named SCRLA Pastry Chef of the Year, recognizing excellence in craftsmanship, leadership, and contribution to the hospitality community. She has also competed on Wizards of Baking, showcasing creativity, composure, and technical skill on a national stage.
Driven by curiosity and a commitment to her craft, Chef Ashley continues to evolve her work while maintaining a focus on balance, intention, and flavor.
