Chloe Gould
She/her/hersAbout Me
Chloe Gould is the chef and owner of DixiePura Kitchen, bringing more than twenty years of experience across restaurants, hotels, and culinary education. Often called a “food translator,” she is known for blending culturally diverse flavors into classic American dishes. Raised on Chicago’s Southside, Chloe discovered her passion early as her grandmother’s “prep cook.” She later earned an Associate’s in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University.
In 2014, Chloe moved to Singapore to teach Western cuisine studies, an experience that profoundly shaped her culinary identity. Immersed in Singapore’s rich food culture, she worked alongside world-renowned chefs, including Joan Roca and David Thompson during Asia’s 50 Best Summit. This chapter strengthened her signature style—American Southern–Southeast Asian cuisine—and inspired the creation of DixiePura LLC.
Chloe has cooked at the Masters Tournament for four consecutive years (2022–2025), collaborated with chefs nationwide, and participated in major Food and Wine Festivals in North Carolina and Aspen. Her dedication to community impact led Chicago Public Schools and Aramark to honor her for supporting students and bringing culturally diverse menus to schools and entertainment venues. An alumna of CPS, C-CAP, and After School Matters, she has trained hundreds of student competitors who have earned millions in scholarship awards.
Her work has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, ChefsRoll, and on Food Network, where she won *Supermarket Stakeout* (Season 4, Episode 10). She has cooked for notable clients, including Chicago Bears President Ted Phillips, and catered events for Redman, Kid Capri, Janet Jackson, and Beyoncé. Chloe continues to mentor youth and expand the DixiePura Kitchen experience, which opened in Chicago’s Bronzeville community on October 18.
