The Midcentury Modern spirit of The Dewberry sets the stage for a beautifully choreographed evening. Experience the dance between dishes rooted in local ingredients and the wines that make them shine.
For this Signature Dinner, Executive Chef Alex Ursprung—who honed his craft at Eleven Madison Park and is renowned for his precise technique and inventive flavor combinations—will be joined by Chef Steven Devereaux Greene, Executive Chef of Herons at The Umstead Hotel & Spa in Cary, NC, and a Krug Brand Ambassade. A James Beard Award semifinalist with experience in Charleston kitchens such as McCrady’s and The Woodlands Inn, Greene returns to collaborate on a multi-course menu that highlights seasonal ingredients, artistry, and flavor.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Krug Champagne and curated Krug single ingredient-inspired bites, followed by a seated dining experience where each dish will be thoughtfully paired with fine wines selected to complement and elevate the evening, creating a seamless journey of taste, technique, and creativity.
