Since 2016, the College of Charleston’s Strategic Communications Capstone program has been a cornerstone of Charleston Wine + Food’s marketing and communications. Hundreds of students have gained hands-on experience in storytelling, campaign execution, and event marketing, many moving directly into careers in communications, marketing, and PR. In 2025, a talented team of 10 students ran the full-service COMM Agency, working closely with the CHSWF team from the fall semester through festival week. They engaged with media, industry leaders, and top talent, gaining invaluable real-world experience along the way. This program continues to strengthen CHSWF’s marketing impact while providing students with practical experience that prepares them for professional success!
