About Me

Kat Craddock is the New York City-based Editor-in-Chief and CEO of SAVEUR magazine. She joined the legacy food title in 2015 by way of the test kitchen and, in an unprecedented move, acquired the brand in 2023. A recipient of the 2024 IACP Trailblazer Award, Kat has 20+ years of combined experience across media and food—as a writer and recipe developer, and as a baker, pastry chef, and cheesemonger in acclaimed restaurants and specialty shops throughout New York City, Boston, and Chicago, including kitchens led by Thomas Keller, Mindy Segal, and Andrew Carmellini.

As the leader of SAVEUR, Kat spearheaded the magazine’s celebrated return to print in 2024, reaffirming its commitment to vivid, deeply reported storytelling that explores how food connects people to place. Under her direction, SAVEUR continues to champion culinary traditions from around the globe, while evolving to meet a modern audience of curious, culturally engaged cooks and travelers.
