What Ticket Sales Support

The Charleston Wine + Food festival is a direct articulation of our mission. It’s a platform to share stories, elevate the people in this community, celebrate our city, and create an enriching experience for the people who live + work here.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ticket sales go directly to the production of the festival. Ninety cents of every dollar we spend producing the festival has a direct measurable impact on our city’s economy. By purchasing a ticket to a festival event, you are helping us to support our local food + beverage community to participate in this festival, share the unique stories and histories of our foodways, and create a meaningful economic impact on our city.

How we support our talent

In an effort to be a more inclusive organization and decrease the barriers for chef + beverage professionals to participate in our festival, we have several ways that we directly compensate our talent.

Food + bev costs? Covered!

We cover food + beverage costs for participating talent and provide per-head stipends for our collaborative Signature Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner host restaurants, responding to escalating ingredient + labor costs.

On the Ground Support

We want it to be as easy as possible for our talent to participate. Participating in Charleston Wine + Food means access to a prep kitchen + specialty equipment along with festival-provided rentals, signage, compostable plateware + flatware, and more so our talent can just show up and do their thing!

Welcome to Charleston!

We love folding in visiting chefs with our excellent hometown team. And we understand travel can be costly. That’s why we provide a travel stipend, hotel accommodations, and on-the-ground transportation for all visiting talent.

The talented chef + beverage professionals that make up Charleston Wine + Food work hard all year. So we want them to have fun during festival weekend and we look to create authentic moments of connections between peers. Think of the festival as a community trade show!

We provide access to participating talent to enjoy the festival and connect with their peers. Talent badges include access to over $2,000 in ticketed events, industry-only experiences, and networking opportunities.
