Known for hosting some of the festival’s most glamorous and memorable dinners—including a legendary evening with Daniel Boulud and the chefs he inspired, such as Michael Anthony, Gavin Kaysen, and Andrew Carmellini—Terri has a gift for creating experiences that linger long after the last course.

For Charleston Wine + Food’s 20th anniversary, Terri opens the doors of her James Island home for an unforgettable evening, welcoming Chef Mike Lata and a special guest back for a collaboration rooted in memory, community, and culinary excellence. Chef Mike Lata, a James Beard Award–winning chef and founder of FIG and The Ordinary, has long been inspired by Terri’s vision and support, making this collaboration a heartfelt reunion as he joins Terri to celebrate Charleston’s culinary legacy alongside one of the world’s most renowned chefs.

Guests will begin the night with elegant hors d’oeuvres while taking in a breathtaking sunset over the Charleston Harbor, followed by a once-in-a-lifetime multi-course dinner on Terri’s porch. Thoughtful wine pairings will complement each course, creating a journey through flavors, stories, and memories.

Desserts come from Hannah Welton of Welton’s Tiny Bakeshop, a chef whose Charleston story began with Terri—her mentor, connector, and champion—demonstrating the lasting impact one person can have on an entire culinary city.This is more than a decadent dinner.
