From founding Cru Café and Purlieu, both beloved local staples, to launching Cru Catering, one of the city’s most celebrated catering companies, Chef Zucker has spent decades shaping the way Charleston eats, gathers, and celebrates. Now, he’s inviting you to experience his passion for food and hospitality in a whole new way.
The evening begins with a lively stroll through four signature hors d’oeuvre stations before you settle into Cru’s open kitchen, where Chef Zucker and team will bring dishes to life right before your eyes—cooking, plating, and sharing stories from his remarkable journey in Charleston’s culinary community.
It’s more than a dinner; it’s a chance to celebrate the legacy of a chef who helped define Charleston dining, all while enjoying an immersive, interactive experience that feels like pulling up a chair in Chef Zucker’s own kitchen.
