When good friends make great drinks, magic happens! NYC’s Bar Snack + D.C.’s Allegory are joining forces for one happy hour – bringing their signature style, inventive cocktails, and a little bit of friendly zest behind the bar. 

Bar Snack burst onto the East Village scene in late 2024 and has been serving up wildly imaginative, seriously fun cocktails (with more than a few pints of Guinness along the way) ever since. Led by Iain Townsend Griffiths, Bar Snack nails the balance between laid-back neighborhood vibes and world-class style. In its very first year, it’s already cracked the World’s Best Bars: North America Top 100 and earned a TOTC Spirited Award nomination for Best New Cocktail Bar. Not bad for a rookie.

To up the ante – Allegory (D.C.) will be joining the mix. Led by Deke Dunne, Allegory’s unique approach to cocktails have made them stand out in the bar world. Allegory is currently Ranked #45 on North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025 and was crowned Best Bar Team at Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards 2025. For one afternoon only, Iain and Deke well be doing what they do best behind the bar at Coterie, bringing Charleston a taste of their signature style: cocktails that are extremely thoughtful, playful, and seriously good. This is more than just a pop-up; it’s a celebration of friendship, craft, and having a damn good time with a drink in hand.
