The 2026 CHSWF festival is shaping up to be a year of milestones, and we’re raising a glass to two cocktail icons turning 15!
Amor y Amargo, the legendary NYC bar where “no mixers, no shakers” is the mantra, has been stirring up bold, bitters-forward cocktails since 2011. Helmed by the inimitable Sother Teague, this intimate speakeasy has racked up some of the industry’s highest honors and continues to land on the world’s best bar lists year after year.
Right here in Charleston, our very own Gin Joint is also celebrating 15 years of creativity behind the bar. Wells and James Bolt have become cornerstones of the city’s cocktail scene, known for imaginative drinks and a bar that feels like home to cocktail lovers. To mark the moment, the Amor y Amargo and Gin Joint teams are joining forces for one unforgettable happy hour—spotlighting incredible regional spirits, plenty of creativity, and the kind of cocktail magic you don’t want to miss.
