Over the past two decades, wine has undergone a transformation more profound than in the previous century; and few have chronicled that journey more closely than Eric Asimov, chief wine critic for The New York Times.

In Eric’s words — “I became wine critic at The New York Times in 2004, and since then, just over 20 years, the world of wine has changed drastically. Natural wines, the Jura, great wines from Sicily, pétillant naturel, grower Champagne, orange wine — nobody ever heard of these 20 years ago, and now they are prized around the world. We will taste some of the most significant, and delicious, developments in wine over that time.”
