Matt Nelling is a National Territory Manager for Skurnik Wines & Spirits, based in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina—a city he proudly has called home for the past decade. Originally from Delco, Matt fell hard for Charleston’s charm and world-class food and beverage scene.
With 20 years in hospitality—starting with slinging pitchers of beer at a family wedding —Matt has worked his way through every corner of the industry. Today, he represents some of the most exciting wines and spirits in the world, with a passion for Champagne, Mezcal, crispy whites, and cool reds that make your palate tap dance.
Matt’s approach is all about connection—between people, place, and the bottles that bring them together. Whether he’s hosting a tasting, talking terroir, or cracking open something unexpected, he brings infectious energy, deep knowledge, and a genuine love for what he does.
At the end of the day, Matt believes the best part of this industry is the community it creates—and he’s thrilled to celebrate that spirit at this year’s festival.
