Brandon Sharp owns the restaurants Hawthorne & Wood, Bluebird, and Proximo in Chapel Hill, NC. A North Carolina native, Brandon worked at The French Laundry, Gary Danko, Ristorante Arzak, and Restaurant August before earning seven consecutive Michelin stars as the Executive Chef of Solbar in Napa Valley.
Brandon and his wife Elizabeth (who sits on the Chapel Hill Town Council) have a full house: three teenagers, two dogs.
His most recent hobby is producing “The Restaurant Incubator” podcast, whose mission is to help up-and-coming chefs save time and money in the development of their restaurant projects. Also, be on the lookout for a wellness program called the Restaurant Industry Reset on YouTube.
